This variation of Gordov becomes a powerful single-target mage, specializing in quickly destroying enemies in choke points. He has incredible base range and solid attack, though using his ability will cause him to pull his range in close, stacking some absurd multipliers to his damage on enemies who come within one square.
Unlike base Gordov, he can only be placed on high ground, so he is best positioned near bottlenecks assisted by a high-block Guard who can keep enemies within his ideal range for long periods.
His ability is best held for tough enemies and bosses, but his COST is high at 25 points, delaying his entrance and forcing him to compete with Zacharoff (Awakened) as the penultimate mage on a well-balanced team. That said, his range is a considerable asset, allowing him to influence multiple lanes in a way that Zachroff (Awakened) sometimes can't. It might be advisable to bring him out early as an insurance policy of sorts if possible, letting his ability build up while enemy waves are thin.
Amusingly, he pairs up very well with his base version on the same team, as they both have impressive coverage.
