Status Ailments are specific types of status effects that give a penalty or disadvantage to the inflicted. Certain ailments only work on non-boss type enemies. Ailments typical run for a duration, and can be reduced by if a unit has the buff "Resistance."

Staright-forward stat debuffs are not considered ailments, since certain units with kits or gimmicks that interact with specific or any ailments, including resistance, do not do so with stat debuffs or Stage Effects.

Types of Ailments

  • Stunned - Unit cannot attack, block, or move. Indicated by a yellow stars over at a unit's head. Introduced in
  • Charmed - Unit will stop blocking and attack any allies within their range. Ground melee units will be able to reach high ground ones. Indicated by hearts over a unit's head.
  • Poisoned - Unit receives gradual damage over time. Indicated by a unit being tinted green.
  • Burned - Unit receives gradual damage over time. Units adjacent to them will be afflicted with the same ailment. Indicated by a unit being tinted red.
  • Sleep - Unit aspd and defense is lowered by 100%. It is interrupted by being hit. A unit can technically still attack if any extra aspd buffs is in effect. Indicated by bubbles over a unit's head.
