The Exchange is a shop access from the main menu, where Ether or Memories can be exchanged.

The shop currency, Ether, can be gained via dupes from Eidos Scouting, while Memories are gained via dupes from any other Scouting method.

Some items refresh daily, some weekly, and a few monthly. Some are only one time purchase-ables.

Shop Item Value[edit | edit source]

Based on the value of shop items in the ether shop, stamina efficiency is computed when compared to the value of the same item is in the event shop, which has a 1:1 relationship with stamina. The ether shop items value is computed in order to weight how much a gain or loss it is to intentionally farm for ether as opposed to farming event currency. (Although they are not necessarily mutually exclusive.)

The closer the two numbers are to each other, the better the value is.

Computation

Value of a shop item is the proportion of the following:

  • Stamina spent to farm enough event currency to purchase item
  • Stamina spent to farm enough event currency to purchase ether which will be used on the shop
    • Bronze Ether is assumed to be gained directly from a green flyer, which makes 1 bronze ether = 10 stamina.
    • Silver Ether is exchanged 1 silver ether = 50 stamina.
    • Gold Ether is exchanged 1 gold ether = 200 stamina.

Note: It ignores other sources of ether which are memories from flyer drops and pulls from scouting.

Observations

  • It is generally a loss to prioritize ether farming over event currency farming.
  • Only higher tier materials prove to offer good value.
  • It is a gain to convert higher tier Ether to lower tier, but only stamina-wise.
  • As a result, ether currency income should be viewed more as a bonus source of materials which doesn't compete with the event shop's rates.
